It's perfect if you've never used Mathemathica. The fact that the book contain a lot of examples helps a lot to get familiar with several functions and aplication of the software.
As a reference book for Mathematica, which I've had for a month or so, I found it very good. Unfortunately, it's not an *instructional* book as I'd tacitly but erroneously assumed, and needed.
Succinct and to the point. This text is not intended to teach programming with the Mathematica language.
